sorry and sad

Hi! SO SORRY, my internet doesn't work for me anymore, so I literally haven't checked my email or anything in like 2 weeks..... Kinda hard to blog with no internet- lol. But anyway, one of our chickens was murdered last night..... well, by an animal. It's so sad, I had just been feeding that rooster like two hours before we found it dead with it's head gone on the ground.... yeah. eeew.

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, our internet isn't working for me... can't connect on my computer so I might not be posting again for a few days!

fleas

Things are going very well today... okay not really. Turns out Oliver (one of our cats) has fleas! Like a lot of them too... so we had to give him a bath in dish suds in the bathtub, and do cats like water - NO! So that was pretty interesting, although he did pretty well considering... but then we had to try to find the fleas on him and pull them out (yuck!!) which is hard when you have a cat who is still wet, squirming around trying to get away, and fleas who don't wanna be yanked.... so now we have to wash almost everything, vacuum like crazy and wash Oliver every two days... he's not gonna be too happy. I'm kinda freaked out myself - if you know me, you know I hate bugs of every kind! (Last night there was a creepy black spider in my room and I was like hyperventilating!) So yeah...

Life

Today we have to do a lot of cleaning (great..) because we're having company tomorrow, and right now the house is a wreck!! And I'm probably get behind in school (I'm home schooled) because they're coming at 10 in the morning tomorrow! (sigh....) Also I think I might be getting sick. Wonderful.

Crayon candle

Cute idea! Use old crayons, melt them and put them in a small glass container with a wick. New candle! (I'm not sure how they would smell though....)

Heart dutch braid

This style is adorable- perfect for valentines! Make sure to dutch braid it though, because if you french braid it, it won't turn out.
